Places To Avoid Getting A Medical Marijuana Authorization

As of April 16th, 2018, this guide has been written, there is an array of options for individuals to select from, in regards to deciding on a clinic to get their dispensary business plan in California. Below are TWO areas at which patients should avoid receiving their authorizations.

AVOID:

1. Dispensaries, or some other location that produces or develops medicinal cannabis.

This almost sounds like common sense, but a lot of dispensaries (that are illegal anyway) are supplying authorizations by contracting a physician to work for them through particular days and hours.

Why should this be averted? For starters, many dispensaries are starting to turn down authorizations that were acquired through dispensaries. Second, there’s present legislature that will make this type of action (supplying authorizations at a dispensary surroundings) illegal. Here’s an excerpt out of Senate Bill 5073:

A health care professional won’t assess or provide to test an individual for purposes of diagnosing a terminal or debilitating medical condition in a place where cannabis is produced, processed, or dispersed;”

Even though this isn’t present law, it’s still important to prevent coping with dispensaries (prohibited). Dispensaries are not likely to confirm you as a patient, since they do not store or file any medical records or individual files, or do not have the medical infrastructure or personnel that will have the ability to provide that support. While the physician that has been contracted to function you could have the ability to document your record and confirm for you, it’s unlikely they may, or at least a danger is not there.

2. “Clinics” that exist for the sole purpose of handing out authorizations.

This is sometimes tricky to gauge. However, a good test would be to determine whether the doctor you see for your medical marijuana test, could see you for additional medical problems, like flu, or a cold, or another ailment. Please check your doctor’s credentials; why are they an MD? Are they accredited? Everyone can throw a robe and conduct an operation from a leased office space. It’s crucial to check if their practice is valid.
